Jesse is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Information Management at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. There, he trains information professionals, managers, and researchers in the skills necessary to design, interact with, reflect upon, and improve information systems, research, and society. His current research interests include personal information management, information retrieval and organisation, and philosophy of information. His work has been presented in international journals and conferences and recognised by the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He earned his PhD at the School of Information Studies at McGill University, where he was a Richard H. Tomlinson Doctoral Fellow.
